    At WorldPath, pediatric service is managed by a team of multicultural professionals. Our emphasis on comprehensive care underwrites the quality of our services. Our care starts with thewell child with emphasis on prevention. Recognizing the family as the foundation for the child's total wellbeing, our service is based on our partnership with the family starting with our comprehensive immunization program extending to the child's total wellbeing. Care of the child when illness occurs is provided by our highly qualified and experienced pediatricians utilizing the mutual trusts established during the provision of health care, the child’s illness can be accurately diagnosed and effective management/treatment instituted early. Our pediatric team understands cultural variation in child care both in health and in illness. We focus on offering highly personalized health care and supportive services for families unfamiliar with local health care practices in Shanghai. Our international team of consultants will ensure the provision of appropriate world class standards of care that will integrate seamlessly with the family's present and future home locations either in China or overseas.

     

    Pediatric Preventive Health Services(0-18 years old)

     

    I. Physical Growth Assessment.
    1. Body growth: Normal growth and development assessment, growth delay and others
    2. Children’s nutrition: Eating, feeding instruction, nutritional condition


    II. Psychological, Neurological, and Behavioral Developments.
    1. Atypical development diagnosis and treatment: The issues of muscular development for head raising, rolling over, standing up, sitting, crawling and walking; the issues of language development such as speech delay, stuttering, unclear enunciations etc., the issues of mental growth delay and others developmental delay.
    2. Diagnosis and consultation of psychological behavioral issues including hyperactivity, attention deficit disorder (ADD) and moodiness which affect growth development and nutritional intake.
    3. Counseling on parental-child interaction, family relationships issues.


    III. Other: children health life styles, environment safety, etc.

     

    Pediatrics Illness care Services (0-14 years old)

     

    I. Common newborn concerns: diagnosis, treatment and care of jaundice, umbilical cord infection,
    skin, breathing and feeding issues.


    II. Respiratory tract diseases: treatment and nursing instruction of nasal congestion, sneezing,
    coughing, upper and lower respiratory tract infections.


    III. Digestive tract diseases: diagnosis, treatment and nursing instruction of indigestion, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and gastroenteritis.


    IIII.Urinary concerns: diagnosis, treatment and care of urinary frequency, urgency and pain.
